Pregnancy is the most precious and important stage in a girl's life. At this stage physical and mental well being of the girl should be taken care. My mother took utmost care of me and my baby during my pregnancy . I am sharing some tips and recipes which I practiced during my pregnancy. These tips and recipes can vary according to each individual. Kindly consult your medical professional if you are allergic to any of the given tips and recipes.

General Tips
  • During pregnancy healthy foods should be taken.
  • Lot of vegetables, fruits and dry fruits should be included in the diet.
  • Light and early dinner is advisable..
  • Start taking Milk Kanji from 5th month onwards.
  • Take oil bath once or twice a week.
  • On the day of oil bath take milk kanji for breakfast and puli illa kulumbu for lunch along with some vegetables.
  • Walking is good during pregnancy.
  • For digestion chookuveni can be taken in the night once a week.
  • The girl shoulde be active and can continue her regular activities as advised by doctor.
  • To overcome backpain, hot water bath can be taken in the evening after a walk.
  • Saffron milk can be taken regularly. 
  • More importantly, the girl should be happy and positive always.
