Black urad dhal dosa (Mullu ulundu dosa)



Ingredients

Raw rice - 4 cups
Black urad dhal (whole/split) - 1 cup
Fenugreek - 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Method
  • Wash and soak the rice for 2 hours. Dont soak the urad dhal
  • Grind the rice in mixie/ grinder.
  • Wash and grind the urad dhal separately along with fenugreek.
  • Mix the rice batter and urad dhal batter. Add salt
  • Allow the batter to ferement overnight.
  • Next day dosa is ready.
  • Pour the batter on a hot pan and add gingeley oil.
  • Roast on both sides.
  • Black urad dhal rice is ready.

The color of this dosa will be slighty different as we are using black urad dhal.
